“I’m a Lexus!”
Alternatively, a Mitsubishi.

A Lexus 86 is something that I never knew I wanted until now.
Small luxury sporty cars are a thing that needs to be a thing again. Like a revived Austin-Healey 3 Litre or Daimler Dart. Just not as heinously unreliable.

Original, yet wholly uninspiring?

It works better than I ever thought it would. Still not a fan of the spindle grill, though. And the fake upper half doesn’t help.

Stop, please.

Or as completely hideous. The Dart is one of the ugliest sports cars ever conceived.

I was thinking Eclipse.

Would the FC-F finally get a turbo?
![]() 12/07/2016 at 17:58 |

no, a CVT and 300 lbs of batteries.

Dur. Of course. Why would Toyota ever give the 86 more power?

Or the drive line from the GS450h....

I think that the aggressive predator face of the Lexus works better on the pointy and low front end of the Toyobaru.

I’m not gonna lie, if it had the performance to back up the looks, I would definitely an RB kitted FRZ-86.
But that Mitsubishi kit.... Nasty... (what car is that bumper from, anyway?)

I’m perfectly okay with the 2000GT look.
Not crazy about the FTO, but it isn’t bad.

I really like the front of that special edition 86 a lot, but they did nothing to change the rest of the car. And it’s a completely different design language.
